Shiatsu

What is shiatsu?

Shiatsu means “finger pressure” in Japanese. Working through clothing, the practitioner uses palms, thumbs and gentle stretches along the body’s energy pathways to release tension and encourage deep rest. [Edit to reflect your training and style.]

What to expect

  • A short conversation about how you are feeling
  • A session on a futon or treatment mat, fully clothed
  • Around [60–90] minutes, followed by time to rest
  • Simple suggestions to take home, if useful

Who it’s for

[Describe who you work with: people with stress, desk-based tension, athletes, new parents, and so on.]
